| Day 1 | Edmonton - Calgary - Great Falls, MT |

Our Arizona winter holiday begins today as we
depart Edmonton and Calgary. Step aboard,
meet your tour director and settle back as
we travel south, clear customs and then stay
overnight in Great Falls. |
| Day 2 | Great Falls - Ogden, UT |
| Today takes us through the Rocky Mountains into
the “PotatoState” of Idaho. We arrive in Ogden,
nestled between the Great Salt Lake to the west
and the beautiful purple Wasatch Mountains to
the east. |
| Day 3 | Ogden - Mesquite, NV |
| We cross the State of Utah, and overnight in
Mesquite, Nevada, home of the fabulous Oasis
Resort Casino. Time to “try your luck” at the
tables this evening. |
| Day 4 | Mesquite - Grand Canyon - Flagstaff, AZ |
| Continuing across the Juniper Mountains we
travel to the Grand Canyon. Behold amazing
views of the canyon with a drive along with
South Rim. The scene continually changes as
light plays off the rocks and clouds, creating
shadows of contrast. No visit to the Grand
Canyon is complete without experiencing the
7-story giant screen presentation of “GRAND
CANYON-THE HIDDEN SECRETS” at the IMAX
Theatre. We continue to the picturesque
mountain community of Flagstaff. |
| Day 5 | Flagstaff - Sedona - Cottonwood, AZ |
| A colorful day begins with a visit to the artist
coloy of Sedona, located in the heart of the
scenic red rock country. Our group will hop on
the Molly Trolley in Sedona to visit the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross, perched on a spur
of red rock two hundred feet above the desert
floor. Enjoy free time this afternoon and stroll
down Main Street, Sedona for a taste of local
artwork, pottery ,jewelry and colourful scarves.
A short drive will bring us to Cottonwood a
two night stay. Tonight wander the streets of
the Blazin M Ranch, an old West town, and
then enjoy a chuck wagon supper. |
| Day 6 | Cottonwood, AZ |
| Today a local guide will board our coach as
we discover Cottonwood, including a stop at
Historic Old Town Cottonwood
This afternoon we board the Verde Canyon
Railroad at Clarkdale for a narrated excursion
through red-walled canyons, past Sinagua
Native America ruins and abundant desert
wildlife. Enjoy an evening at leisure to explore
on your own. |
| Day 7 | Cottonwood - Phoenix, AZ |
| This morning, we travel to Jerome, to see
the “Sliding Jail”. There will be leisure time
to browse through the galleries, studios and
shops of this ghost town –turned artists colony.
Experiencing the Arizona warmth, we continue
south to Phoenix, located in the “Valley of the
Sun”. On arrival this afternoon board Dolly’s
Steamboat for a relaxing cruise on one of
Arizona’s most beautiful desert lakes. |
| Day 8 | Phoenix (Mesa) |
| During our stay in Phoenix, we will enjoy such
highlights as: a Guided City Tour of Phoenix , a
visit to the Heard Museum, which houses one of
the most extensive displays of Native American
artifacts and art. We visit Scottsdale and a drive
along the Apache Trail including stops at Gold
Field Ghost Town, Tortilla Flats, Apache Lake,
Roosevelt Lake and Roosevelt Dam. |
| Day 9 | Phoenix - Yuma, AZ |
| Today we say goodbye to Phoenix and travel
east to Yuma, one of only two National
Heritage areas in the west. This afternoon
we stop at the Yuma Territorial Prison State
Park, which housed many of Arizona’s most
dangerous and notorious criminals. And see
authentically furnished jail cells, the old main
gate and the guard tower. |
| Day 10 | Yuma |
| Today we visit several fascinating farms in the
Yuma region including a lemon grove where
you can experience the fast paced activities
of lemon harvesting, packing and shipping.
Following we stop at the Imperial Date Gardens
to learn about the fascinating aspects of
Medjool date production and harvest at this
world renowned date gardens. While here we
try a refreshing date shake. |
| Day 11 | Yuma - Lake Havasu, AZ |

We travel north today to the resort community
of Lake Havasu, home of the historic and
authentic reconstructed London Bridge that
once spanned the Thames River and was
moved in 1960’s. This afternoon you will have
time to browse through Old English Village, a
variety of shops housed in the English Tudorstyle
buildings. |
| Day 12 | Lake Havasu - Primm, NV |
| On the road again, we arrive in Primm, Nevada,
located 40 miles south of Las Vegas. Here
you will find three hotel casinos joined by a
monorail, old time choo choo train or shuttle.
Have fun and visit each one. |
| Day 13 | Primm - Salt Lake City, UT |
| We start our passage home today, as we leave
the State of Nevada behind and return to the
State of Utah. |
| Day 14 | Salt Lake City - Great Falls, MT |
|
Returning through familiar countryside today,
we cross the Monida Pass into Montana,
arriving in Great Falls. Tonight join your tour
director for a farewell dinner at the hotel. |
| Day 15 | Great Falls - Calgary - Edmonton, AB |
| It’s homeward bound today, stopping at the
duty free shop on return. We have journeyed
through some of the most beautiful sights
in the world and we carry with us memories
of good times and the appreciation of new
friendships. |
