Day 1
Home City - Las Vegas, NV
Depart from home for fabulous Las Vegas. On
arrival you will be transferred to the Desert Rose
Resort, 1 block off the strip and within walking
distance of MGM and the Tropicana. Your
apartment suite features a living room, bedroom,full kitchen, bath and balcony. Later meet
your local Tour Director and other guests for a
delicious dinner at the Resort. After dinner, your
Tour Director will take you on a night tour down
the world famous strip where you may observe
an erupting volcano and moving water dance to
Italian music on Lake Como. Travel down to the
Freemont Street Experience, a unique concept
of a sound and light show, Las Vegas style.
Day 2
Las Vegas
Enjoy a full extended continental breakfast this
morning, then meet your local guide for a get
acquainted with the Strip tour from one end to
the other with stops along the way. You will
have a chance to get supplies for you suite. Enjoy
the remainder of the day at your leisure.
Day 3
Lake Havasu - Oatman- Laughlin Day Trip
Travel through the Mojave Desert and across
the Colorado River into the State of Arizona and
have the opportunity to walk under or on the
world famous London Bridge. After lunch and
shopping you will take a drive up to Oatman – a
fun place to visit. You will see an authentic old
western town with burros roaming the streets
and gunfights staged on weekends. The burros
are tame and can be hand fed. Clark
Gable and Carol Lombard honeymooned at
the Oatman Hotel March 18, 1939. Their
honeymoon suite is still one of the major
attractions at the hotel. After you visit here,
you will travel through Laughlin for a dinner
stop and a chance to try your hand at gaming
before returning to your hotel. The remainder of
the evening is at leisure.
Day 4
Free Day!
Today is a leisure day for you to discover the
many hotels, attractions and casinos with nonstop
gaming. Your Tour Director will be happy to
provide you with suggestions.
Day 5
"California Here We Come"
This morning travel to the lowest point of the
nation, Death Valley National Park, where you
will learn about the tragic and colorful history
of the area and visit the Borax Museum. Walk
to the Zabriskie Point and relax at Furnace
Creek Ranch. In the afternoon explore the north
part of the park with a guided tour of Scotty’s
Castle, an amazing sight in this isolated region.
Later, see the Ubehebe Crater, created by a
volcanic steam eruption.
Day 6
Red Rock Canyon and Residential Day Tour
Board the coach for a morning tour of Red Rock
Canyon (the Red Rock Mountains of the High
Desert). You will also tour the residential part
of Red Rock. See how the people live and learn
about the Indian life and its history. The Rock
formation is beautiful as the sun shines on the
mountain. After freshening up at you hotel, you
will be treated to dinner and a show.
Day 7
Las Vegas "Your Way"
Today, you can once again enjoy all the activities
of Las Vegas. Check with your Tour Director for
suggestions. If shopping is on your agenda, you
will find an upscale mall located on the Strip.
The Stratospher, located at the end of the Strip,
is a must visit for a breathtaking view of Las
Vegas! Maybe have a cocktail or enjoy dinner on
your own while revolving around the city. There
are optional tours available such as Lake Mead/
Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon.
Day 8
Las Vegas - Home City
Today check out of the hotel and say goodbye
to the glitz, lights and glamour of Las Vegas.
Your Tour Director will transfer you back to the
airport for your return flight home.
