Day 1
Edmonton Calgary Kamloops, BC
Depart home city en route to Kamloops. This evening enjoy a get-acquainted party held at Forster’s Conference Centre, providing a great opportunity for people to meet, hear and socialize with the entertainers. Best Western Kamloops
Day 2 and Day 3
Your exciting two-day festival pass begins today. During both days continuous entertainment will be held at two neighboring venues in Kamloops on 3 or 4 different stages. A complimentary shuttle is provided between both venues. The hotels are located close to the festival sites allowing you the best opportunities to enjoy the performances. The 2008 festival performers line-up will be released in the fall of 2007. Past entertainers included our own local star, Brett Kissel. Be sure to take time to visit the on-site Western Art and Gear Show and the invitational art show where western/cowboy artists can display their work. Take time to drop in at the Western Film Room where some of your old favorite movies, documentaries and TV series will be playing throughout the weekend. Sit and relax and watch old favorites of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, John Wayne, Bonanza and the Lone Ranger. Your pass also includes two dinner theatre shows – one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening. (2B, 2D)
Day 4
Kamloops Salmon Arm, BC
This morning join performers and fellow festivalgoers for Cowboy Church, an established tradition and a wonderful way to bring to a close your festival experience. Later in the afternoon travel to Salmon Arm along the scenic Shuswap Lake.
Day 5
Salmon Arm Calgary Edmonton, AB
With western music ringing in your ears, return home with fond memories of the Kamloops Cowboy Festival. (B)
