Day 1:
Home City / Dublin, Ireland
Overnight flight to Dublin, Ireland (IFM)
Day 2:
Arrive Dublin
Meet your tour director and fellow passengers in Dublin and drive through the city to the Guinness Storehouse, located in the heart of the Guinness Brewery. The highlight of the visit is a pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar with a magnificent view of this1000 year old city. Check into the hotel and have time to rest. Before our included dinner enjoy a welcome drink. (D) Camden Court Hotel
Day 3:
Dublin
After breakfast enjoy a panoramic drive around the major sites of the region. Visit Trinity College to see the incredible Book of Kells, one of Ireland’s dearest treasures. Next visit the magnificent St Patrick’s Cathedral, the largest church in Ireland. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore Dublin. This evening enjoy a Traditional Irish dinner with entertainment at the Abbey Tavern. (B,D) Camden Court Hotel
Day 4:
Dublin / Waterford
Travel through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains and visit Glendalough, the ruins of a beautiful 6th Century monastery. Continue the journey to Waterford and tour the Waterford Crystal Factory with time to shop in the showroom. (B,D) Granville Hotel
Day 5:
Waterford / Killarney
Travel west and stop in Midleton Distillery and then continue on to Blarney Woolen Mills for shopping. Next visit the Blarney Castle, one of Ireland’s greatest treasures. You will have a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone (and gain the gift of eloquence) found at the top of the Tower. Once you kiss the stone, you will never be at a loss for words! Continue through beautiful Ireland and arrive in Killarney for a 3-night stay. (B,D) Dromhall Hotel
Day 6:
Killarney
This morning travel around the “Ring of Kerry”. The roads are narrow and the views so spectacular the journey will be a memorable one. Visit the Victorian Muckross House located on the Lakes of Killarney. After our included dinner stroll the quaint streets of Killarney or perhaps enjoy some traditional music at a pub (B,D)
Day 7:
Killarney
This morning meet our Jarvey for a horse and jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park. Then board our motor coach for a journey out onto the Dingle Peninsula. Explore the incredible beauty of the Dingle and return to Killarney later this afternoon. The rest of the day is free to explore Killarney. (B)
Day 8:
Killarney / Bunratty
Depart Killarney and travel to the picture postcard village of Adare, which is one of Ireland’s special places. See Tudor style houses, thatched roof cottages, beautiful gardens and ivy clad medieval churches along the river Maigue. Visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park an 11th-century castle that has been restored to its former medieval glory. In the surrounding area is a folk park where you can watch people working, as they would have in the 1800’s. Savor a farewell medieval banquet and entertainment this evening. Day 9:
Ireland / Home City
Say farewell to Ireland and depart for home. (B)
