Day 1
Edmonton / Calgary / Waterton, AB
Today we travel to Waterton Lakes National Park, which features spectacular scenery, an abundance of wildlife, plants and lakes, a small commercial village and a wide variety of recreation facilities. Before arriving in Waterton, we tour the land of the famous Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump. We will explore the colorful past at one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved buffalo jump sites in North America.
Day 2
Waterton Lakes National Park
We have a full day to enjoy Waterton Lakes National Park! First, our tour guide will show us all the sights including: Cameron Falls, Cameron Valley, Cameron Lake, and the Prince of Wales Hotel. Then - leisure time for shopping in the village before we enjoy a scenic boat cruise of Lake Waterton. This evening, join the tour director for dinner and some good ole western entertainment at the Great Canadian Barn.
Day 3
Waterton / Calgary / Edmonton, AB
Today following breakfast, we leave the Rocky Mountains behind. We arrive in Cardston at the Remington Carriage Museum – the “Best Indoor Attraction in Canada”. This $13 million museum showcases a huge collection of elegant carriages, practical buggies and utility wagons. Experience a ride through town on their horse-drawn wagon!
